托尔图加的海盗

Ahoy maties! Welcome to Tortuga! 

Deep in the heart of the Caribbean is the ultimate haven for pillagers and buccaneers. Here, pirates roam the cobblestone streets with no worry about being captured for their deeds. Come join them and explore this island sanctuary for yourself! 

There are 6 different buildings to explore, each with their own unique stories and hidden details. 

• The Islander Inn is very popular amongst those travelers needing a good night’s rest before heading back out to sea. It includes bunks and a dining area. 
• The Psychic’s home is where many lost souls venture to when they’ve endured bad luck while at sea. They sometimes will have their fortune told but the rumor is that black magic can be performed at times.
• The Garrison is a fortified portion of the settlement. Here you can find an armory and watchtower.
• The Loot House is where much of the treasure yet to be equally divided up is stored. A guard stands watch at all times. 
• Captain’s Residence is the home of Captain Ogel. He has a bedroom and a personal office where he displays his collectables and plans out the next villages to plunder. 
• Marooned Marina is the best place to pick up some fresh fish or fishing supplies. 

Background :

During the 17^th century, the island of Tortuga, which is part of modern-day Haiti, was a major destination and base of operations for pirates who preyed on the Spanish treasure fleets that carried massive hordes of South American gold and silver. As pirates were eventually romanticized in the 20^th century, depictions of this haven would pop up in various media and novelizations showing it to be a settlement built on lawlessness. And so, I have tried to create that fantasized pirate town in LEGO bricks.
