Welcome to my LEGO Mushroom Village
Hidden among leaves and flowers lies the Mushroom Village, where little Forest Elves have found themselves a home. Here they live in a hollow tree stump, work in the mill, dig underground for crystals and pick fresh berries from the fruit shop. They live in harmony with the animals and are supported by a butterfly and a ladybug mount.
Next chapter of the Tiny World of Wonders
After my LEGO Mushroom House successfully introduced you to the Forest Elves, we are now exploring the thicket of this magical world even further.
My Mushroom Village is 42 cm wide and is built with 2427 pieces. The highest flower is 29 cm tall. 7 Minifigures are included and show the inhabitants of the Mushroom Village, such as the wizard, an elf with a backpack, a garden gnome, and a girl with a carrot trolley.
Interior
From the back, you can look at the detailed interior. Above the crammed fruit shop is a small home and hidden underground is the garden gnome's cave, which has a window through the waterfall. The cozy terrace is removable and reveals the tree stump dwelling with a bed and washbasin underneath.
A crank can be used to drive the mill petals from the back, which moves the orrery on the ceiling inside the mushroom. Who knew that the Forest Elves imagined their solar system as large fruits orbiting around an orange?
Playful details
The Tiny World of Wonders plays with scale, so a ladybug becomes a mountain, and large droplets of morning dew can be found on the leaves. Numerous details invite discovery and storytelling, such as the root bridge over the stream, the telescope, the large pinecone, and the workbench in the cave.
Thanks so much for supporting my Mushroom Village! From June 10th you’ll have the chance to pre-order the set on BrickLink. If you like my Tiny World of Wonders, also keep an open eye on BDP Series 8.
