Enter the arena and lead your troops to victory!

Clash Royale is a real-time strategy game released worldwide by Supercell in 2016. Players use troops, buildings, and spells (known as cards) from the beloved Clash universe to destroy their opponents’ towers while defending their own. By winning battles, players climb up the trophy ladder and unlock new arenas. They can also join a clan to share cards and build their own community. Enjoyed by people of all ages, Clash Royale blends fun and creativity, and would be a perfect match with LEGO bricks!

Clash Royale has 24 uniquely themed arenas, and this project features one that every player would recognize: Arena 1, Goblin Stadium. The full battlefield is included, with all four towers (two Princess Towers and one King Tower per side) built for play. The King towers’ cannons can be rotated to mimic firing at enemy troops, and all towers can be easily removed from the ground when they are “destroyed” just like the game.

As in the app, both sides of the arena are symmetrical, making this a great co-build project. Inspired by LEGO’s “Build Together” initiative, this set encourages teamwork as players can construct each side of the battlefield simultaneously.

Currently, Clash Royale has over 100 cards. This proposed set includes sixteen of the most iconic ones (enough for a deck of eight for each player just like in-game) that are either standard minifigures or brick-built characters. They are:

Originally a king and two princesses on each side of the arena were included, but I adjusted the count to meet LEGO Ideas guidelines. There are now 11 minifigures and 5 brick-built characters. I made custom decals to faithfully capture all the cards' designs.

Altogether, the model contains approximately 2,815 pieces. This number could be reduced by using part 65803 (16x16 Technic Brick), which isn’t currently available in Mecabricks but would be ideal for structural support.

As a 3D artist, I love Clash Royale’s stylized characters and environments and was excited to see how they could be translated into LEGO bricks. I also wanted to combine one of my favorite games with a hobby I’m passionate about. Even though the game was released eight years ago, millions of players are still online every day! It would be a dream come true if this fan design became a reality.
