Step into the colorful world of impressionism with Claude Monet’s house
Claude Monet was a passionate lover of art, nature, and flowers. He is best known for his iconic painting
Impression, Sunrise
, which gave its name to the Impressionist movement.
For over 40 years, he lived and painted in this charming residence in Giverny, France, a place that inspired some of his most celebrated masterpieces.
The build
This set includes several iconic rooms from the real house: the blue kitchen, the yellow dining room, the living room/studio, and his bedroom.
I also imagined an attic that reflects Monet’s personal interests: painting materials, Japanese art prints, and garden tools.
A key feature of the set is the famous Japanese bridge, surrounded by flowers and water lilies. This iconic scene appears in many of Monet’s artworks.
The set also includes several representations of Monet’s paintings, which can be arranged to suit anyone’s personal preference.
The idea behind the project
I wanted to build a house, and when I asked myself what was the most beautiful one I had ever seen, the answer was obvious: Claude Monet’s house, which I had the chance to visit a few years ago.
Why would this make a great set?
This set is a tribute to Monet’s art and lifestyle. His colorful house is one of the most beautiful in the world. The build is rich in detail and color, and it makes a stunning display piece for both LEGO fans and art lovers.
