The iconic Studio Ghibli has just turned 40, and what better way to celebrate than with one of its most-beloved scenes, where Totoro meets Satsuki by the bus-stop in the 1988 classic
My Neighbor Totoro!
The set features a brick-built Totoro, with minifigures of Satsuki and Mei.
Mei comes with a hair piece, so that you can recreate other scenes from the film!
The base features trees and greenery to make for a lively backdrop, and the iconic blue bus-stop sign, with some small details to show the pouring rain!
This project is an update of my previous project, with some notable improvements: This time round, Mei is included! Both her and Satsuki are now minifigures, which allows for a more compact, more focused build overall, reducing the total number of pieces and required shelf-space!
If you love Studio Ghibli, let's make this set a reality!
