It’s the Muppet Show — but in LEGO!

Recreate your favorite Muppet moments with an operational, vaudeville-style Muppet Theatre. Control characters and props on-stage using two gears on the outside, clear rods, a handful of set pieces, and your own imagination!

The theater features five removable and operational stages, each with its own unique mechanics, including:

The Swedish Chef’s Kitchen: Move the Swedish Chef side-to-side and turn his pan with one gear while stirring the pot with the other gear. Today’s menu is up to you!
Muppet Labs: Show off your latest LEGO invention with Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker both controlled by the same gear, and crank the machines in the background with the other gear.
Pigs in Space: Make the mini-scale Spaceship Swinetrek blast off into the sky before following the crew’s piggish hijinks inside. One gear controls Captain Link, Dr. Strangepork, and First Mate Piggy while the other spins the door behind them.
Veterinarian’s Hospital: Tell your best puns while controlling Dr. Bob and his patient via the outside gears and Nurse Piggy and Nurse Janice from above the theater.
Standard stage: The simplest yet most versatile stage includes two spots for characters to turn and spin. Set Rowlf at his piano, place Animal on his drum set, replay “Mahna Mahna” a thousand times, or give the stage to Kermit and his banjo. Swappable baseplate backgrounds let you change the scene into anything you want.

I was inspired by Jim Henson's creativity and puppeteering innovation when assembling this Muppet Theatre. I didn't just want a stage I could look at — I wanted a stage that could move! With multiple spots for moving characters, SNOT pieces to hold up backgrounds, and plenty of extra room, the sky is the limit (literally since Beauregard still hasn’t fixed the roof).

Guitars, a banjo, boxes, and other starter props and set decorations

I think this would make a great set because it combines the endless potential of LEGO building with Henson's imaginative puppeteering. I understand that, if made into a real LEGO product, the theater may not include every single character and detail included here. Nevertheless, I feel this submission represents the most sensational, inspirational potential that an operational LEGO Muppet Theatre has. From Miss Piggy's ballads to Fozzie's un-bearable stand-up, I want Muppet fans to have the perfect medium to build whatever they want. 💚
