As a kid in the 80s I was, and still am, a huge fan of the TV series Knight Rider. I had a big poster on the wall with KITT. The idea of having this cool looking self-aware car, that could drive itself, talk and jump over obstacles was very fascinating. KITT stands for Knight Industries Two Thousand.
With this LEGO build, I wanted to capture the sleek, futuristic design of the car and various details, such as the seats, dashboard and other interior. On the front it has the cool red scanner. A light brick could be used for it. On the rear of the car it has the blue "KNIGHT" license plate, just like the real car.
I've added three minifigures to the build: Michael Knight, Bonnie Barstow and Devon Miles. They come with a stand featuring KITT's voice box and dashboard.
A LEGO model of this iconic car would be a cool nostalgic display piece.
