“Our uncle had transformed his house into a tourist trap he called ‘The Mystery Shack.’ The real mystery was why anyone came.”
I am beyond excited to share with you my custom build of the Gravity Falls Mystery Shack! I love the show and have wanted an official LEGO set for years. Hopefully, with your help, we can make that dream a reality (just don't make any deals with sharply-dressed triangles!)
This custom build has around 4,810 pieces, including nine minifigures (Dipper Pines, Mabel Pines, Grunkle Stan, Soos, Wendy, Ford, Lil' Gideon, Wax Sherlock Holmes, and the Sascrotch), three animals (Waddles, Gompers, and the Axolotl), and one brick-built Bill Cipher!
The Mystery Shack itself has three levels:
The ground floor has the museum, the gift shop, the parlor, the living room, a hallway, the kitchen, and the back entrance.
The second floor holds the bathroom, Stan's office, and Ford's secret room.
The third floor is the attic, with Dipper and Mabel's room and their closet.
Around the outside you will find the front, back, and side porches, the secret hang-out on the roof, the totem, signs, trees, and even some derelict appliances.
The build is packed with numerous details and references from the show, including but not limited to: Ducktective on the television, an Owl Trowel, a bowl of loser candy, half a taco, puppet Stan, an invisible wizard, the rock-that-looks-like-a-face-rock, the interdimensional rift, a zombie hand, and the world's most distracting object! It also... uhhh... what was I saying again?
I would like to say thank you not only to the creators of Gravity Falls, but also to the creators of all of the custom Gravity Falls LEGO builds and minifigures, including past IDEAS submissions. Thank you, and I hope that you enjoy the Mystery Shack as much as I do.
Stay weird, and remember, "we put the 'fun' in 'no refunds!"
